Roles & Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Management is a part of this job. That we need to make sure everything goes smoothly. When a new employee joins the company. This includes getting all the necessary papers ready like employment contracts and other documents. We also have to organize a program to introduce the employee to the company.
- We have to manage a lot of things for the employees like when they get a role or a promotion. We also have to update their status in the system.
- As an HR Officer, when an employee leaves the company, we have to do some things like get them to fill out a form to say why they are leaving and make sure they return any company property.
- We have to keep all the employee records up to date and accurate.
- HR Administration is another part of the job. We have to write letters and other documents for the employees like salary certificates and employment certificates.
- We have to make sure all the employee information is up to date in the system. We also have to keep all the documents private.
- We have to check if the documents like passports and visas are still valid.
- Leave and Attendance Management is also part of the job for an HR Officer. We have to manage employee leave requests and keep a record of who’s on leave.
- As an HR Officer, we have to check who is attending work and who is not. We also have to make a report every month about who attended work.
We have to work with the department managers to make sure everyone is following the rules.
- Payroll Support is another thing we have to do. We have to get all the information ready for the payroll like who was on leave and who worked hours.
- We have to check if all the information’s correct before we send it to the payroll team.
- We have to help the payroll team if they have any questions.
- We have to send the payroll information to the finance team on time.
- Employee Relations Support is also important for an HR Officer. We have to answer employees’ questions about the company rules.
- We have to help the employees if they have any problems. We also have to make sure the employees are happy and healthy.
- We have to help the employees talk to the management team if they need to.
- HR Compliance and Governance is another part of the job. We have to make sure the company is following all the rules.
- We have to help update the company rules and documents.
- We have to help the auditors if they need any documents or information.
- We have to keep all the employee information private.
- HR Reporting and Analytics is also part of the job for an HR Officer. We have to make reports about the employees, like how many employees we have and who is on leave
- We have to keep all the data accurate and up to date.
- We have to make reports for the management team if they need them.
- HR Systems and Process Improvement is another thing we have to do. We have to help manage the system or make sure it is working correctly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- As an HR Officer, we have to find ways to improve the HR processes or make the employees’ experience better.
- We have to help with any HR projects and make sure they are completed on time.
- The person we are looking for should have a degree in Human Resources and a related field.
- They should have least 2 to 3 years of experience in HR and be able to work well in a fast paced environment.
- It is preferred if they have a certification in HR like SHRM CP and PHR.
- They should have experience, in employee relations. Be able to resolve conflicts.
- It is advantageous if they know about the UAE Labor Law and HR practices.
